It starts with the new Hot Solo+ amp and adds interactive control over the effect processing and amp tweaking. The first control is More Gain which controls several things- amp overdrive, gain booster bypass and boost level and a noise gate. At the 12 0'clock position the Gain Boost and Noise Gate are engaged. As you increase the level, the Noise Gate threshold increases to counteract the additional gain boost. The second parameter is Mids Shift. It controls the Middle of the amp head and at the same time a Parametric Equalizer. This results in a low mids boost/cut at around 324Hz. Spread controls the new Stereo Spread effect to give the solo a wider stereo range. Mic Blend controls the Matched Cabinet miking and gives a brighter or darker presence to the sound. Delays, Reverb, and Air are post effect controls, while the Chaos knob blends in the Psychedelay to the front of the signal chain to add a darker, more chaotic sound to the solo.
